We are on the hunt for a talented Architect with 6+ years’ post-grad experience who can confidently coordinate and drive residential projects from concept to completion. A sharp eye for detail, savvy 3D modeling skills and masterful documentation skills are favourable. Local experience in design focused residential town planning applications, construction documentation and contract administration are essential. A knack for writing and an interest in marketing would be beneficial. We use AutoCAD, sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite, but look to move to Archicad in the near future.
Our studio is small but growing. We have a number of residential projects in the pipeline, and we have just commenced our own residential construction project that attempts to encourage more women into the construction industry. This is a fabulous opportunity to not only build your residential architecture career as a key member of a supportive and cohesive emerging practice, you will also have the opportunity to experience the daily progress of a construction site if you choose to again a thorough understanding of how builders build and manage projects. We are offering a flexible permanent position, between 30 – 40 hours per week where working from home is possible. Salary negotiable, depending on experience.
